Original glazed ceramic sculpture in the Japanese RAKU technique. Entitled "Seated Monk".

Raku, an abbreviation of the Japanese term raku-yaki 楽焼, is the result of a glazing technique developed in Japanese ceramics in the 16th century. A more solid chamotte stoneware is used because the pieces have to withstand large temperature variations.

This elegant piece (H 24x16x12 cm) is an original and unique creation by Ossabb.

Each piece will be accompanied by a magnificent catalogue of Ossabb's work.
